White Cane Walk Dover, Maine: October 12,2019 at Start 10 am
The Dover Low Vision Group is holding a “ White Cane Walk” to make all aware of people who are blind and visually impaired using white canes to travel with. All cars must yield to those using a white cane or guide dog. It is the law,failure to do so will result in a fine., of not less than $50 and no more than $1,000.

The Iris Network’s Annual White Cane Walk for Independence will be held on October 13, 2019. The walk begins at 189 Park Avenue, Portland, Maine. Registration is at 9 am and the walk will begin at 10 am. Walkers are encouraged to register in advance for the walk, but may also register the day of the walk.
